The bottling plants constitute the final stage in the industrial process. Besides decanting the oil into recipients suitable for sale both in terms of their capacity (not larger than 5 litres for domestic consumption and 25 litres for industries, hotel and catering and institutions) and the material used for the packaging, the activity of this industry comprises the blending or mixing of virgin oils with refined olive or olive-pomace oils to obtain a product with the desired characteristics.
