Guide to Browsing

The browsing structure of the Agencia para el Aceite de Oliva's Portal is split into four clearly differentiated areas:
1. Header

At the top left-hand side is the Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Food logo, which is accompanied by a background of images of olives and the heading "Agencia para el Aceite de Oliva". Above this bar, there is the option to select the language, as well as to access the sitemap, the contact us section and the published documents search facility.
On all of the website's secondary pages, alongside these there will also be the option to return to the Home Page from any of the website's internal pages.
2. Centre

To the left-hand side, there is an image identifying the activity of the AAO. Immediately to the right of this there is a series of icons which enable quick access to the following features:
o Calendar of Obligations: This shows the calendar of obligations of the various Industries of the olive oil and table olives sector.
o Work Groups: This provides direct access to a specific application of the same name, for use by the various members of work groups established by the AAO to develop its functions, sector information, etc...
o Links: This offers direct access to other websites within the sector via the AAO's portal
o Contact: This provides direct access to the AAO's contact details, as well as to specific sections such as the Queries/Suggestions Box and Frequently Asked Questions.
To the right-hand side, New Stories are listed, via a scroll down menu, allowing access to all published news stories in their full versions.
3. Main Menu / Contents

In this part of the page, you will find the second and third browsing levels, clearly differentiated by the background colour. Each time we select a heading from the first browsing level, we access a secondary page of the portal which allows us to view all the contents of this heading (in a menu in the left-hand side bar), as well as associated sub-menus, or second level menus. The portal's header remains visible at the top of all secondary pages, complete with access to the portal's main sections and, to the upper left, a specific image indicating the section.
4. Footer

At the bottom of the page, we find the website's Copyright and direct links to content, for example: Legal Advice and notes regarding Accessibility, as well as the link to this Browsing Guide.
